"Crossing a Red Line" is a follow-up of Danelle Janse van Rensburg's previous exhibition, "SAFE". The theme depicts the dangers when crossing the red danger line by going beyond the taboos and boundaries of the safe world of social convention. Her sculptures demand a physical connection with each piece. The lines created by the blade become metaphors for the scars inflicted by abuse.
