“In this exhibition I observe my personal encounters with the maternal experience as I navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood, while balancing the role of raising children and nurturing our romantic relationships.
It’s evident that the act of giving/ showing & appreciating ‘love’ is a multifaceted journey. It’s accompanied by numerous obstacles that may not always have clear solutions.
However, in ‘Leruo’, I am committed to embracing love with resilience and unwavering faith in the potential for growth and understanding within it. Strength to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of our happiness.” - Lerato Lodi
