The artists artworks deal with animals and the problematic surrounding their representation conceptually, in a postmodern situation. Baker(2000:50)[1] speaks about the postmodern dilemma of the animal which he claims is no different to that of postmodern man, he talks of postmodern man as a fractured, incomplete hybrid botched "put togethered" and wronged being.

It is the juncture and ruptures between human, animal and hybridity that the artist is exploring. The everlasting enduring relationships that man has had with the animal , and the way that man’s identity is bound to that of the animal.
