In January 2004, Pretoria artist Michèle Nigrini moved to Rosendal, a small village in the Eastern Free State. Her first solo exhibition after the relocation will reflect impressions of the landscape and the varied structures within it. “ I strive to express the essential character of things, submitting it to the spirit of the place - a condensation of sensations, so to speak.”
