SEPTET(7) - ANDRE NAUDECelebrated Pretoria artist, Andre Naude's exhibition coincides with his recent 70th birthday. For this series he reworked older corporate commissions that were done on canvas-board, making history reappearing. 'Otherwordly Richard Diebenkorn inventions happened on these old projects and I found the ghost marks and colours appearing fascinating,' says Naude. Especially known as superb colourist, Naude hopes that these abstract 'reworks' in acrylic and pastel will be inspiring to the curious onlooker. These works were completed after lockdown.
