I`m so privileged to be presenting Colleen Alborough`s full suite of 50 prints titled `50 Stories`. Created in 2010 as a commission for the 12 Decades Hotel in Mabonang in Johannesburg, these works explore images of the streets and events of Johannesburg from the decade 1966 to 1975. The main focus is the construction and opening of the Carlton Centre in 1973 - the only venue in Johannesburg that welcomed multi-racial social integration.
