Las Vegas-based artist Johnathan Schultz shows select works in South Africa South African-born artist Johnathan Schultz is bringing the world's attention home this September with Lasting Impressions: Tracing Identity & Resilience, his first solo exhibition in South Africa, co-curated by Richard Kilpert.
Featuring his powerful Fingerprint series, meticulously crafted from materials inspired by Nelson Mandela's fingerprints from his arrest warrant, Schultz transforms forensic records into monumental symbols of endurance and legacy. Running during Heritage Month at the Homecoming Centre, a District Six Museum, this exhibition challenges audiences to confront the scars and triumphs shaping South Africa's identity today.
