 Listening to the Past19 February 2025 Participating: Tatenda Mapisire Listening to the Past explores themes of migration and memory through sculptural installations. This practice-based art study intertwines personal experiences of student migration with historical Shona migrations, creating a dialogue between cultural journeys and contemporary displacement and adaptation. The use of mixed media, both natural and contemporary, within these sculptures further emphasizes this connection between past and present.
Artist walkabouts will be available from the 24th to the 28th of February from 11h00-13h00.
