The Exhibition refers to the artist's passion for the Cape's Mountain ranges, orchards, rivers, vineyards, and quaint whitewashed workers' cottages. For more than 20 years Roelof has been painting landscapes of the Western Cape, namely Stellenbosch; Franschhoek; Paarl; Rawsonville; Worcester and Robertson. ‘’I would return a few times in the early morning and early evening to catch the best and most dramatic light. Once again it was scenes with contrast that inspired me to paint and the rusty colours of late autumn and early winter’’. -Roelof. The exhibition ends 03 May.
