Willem Truter is a seasoned artist with an impressive record of previous exhibitions. His coming exhibition of drawings bears evidence of his excellent talent as a draughtsman. In a fluent and forceful style he shows groups of persons in various circumstances dialoguing with each other. Their gestures and facial expressions reveal an array of human emotions, of anger and excitement but also in some works, of feelings of tenderness and compassion.
