Call for Entries: Emergence Art Prize

THK Gallery, Jake Michael Singer, RMB and the RMB Turbine Art Fair (RMB TAF) are proud to announce the launch of the Emergence Art Prize, to be inaugurated at the RMB TAF 2020.

Open to emerging artists working in any medium, the prize aims to boost the careers of artists who have yet to gain official gallery representation. In addition to a solo exhibition at THK Gallery in Cape Town, the winner will receive a 2-month residency at the innovative Quartier am Hafen Studio House on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne, Germany, and an R80 000 cash prize.

Entries close on 14 August 2020 and the winner will be announced on 27 August at the opening of the RMB TAF which this year takes a purely virtual form.
