Patrick Rulore (b. 1995 in Johannesburg) matriculated in 2013. Following his matriculation, he started his art practice producing commissioned portraits. He went on to study for a National Diploma in Fine Art at the Tshwane University of Technology, which he completed in 2020.

His works made it to the Top 100 of the prestigious Sasol New Signatures competition for 2017 and in 2018, his entry received the Top Painting accolade. In 2019, his submission for the Thami Mnyele Art Award made it to the top 15 best artworks. In 2021, his entry again made it to the top 20 of the Thami Mnyele Art Award. His entry was shortlisted in the Goethe Institute Henrike Grohs Award 2022.

Rulore is the winner of the 2019 Sasol New Signatures Award for his artwork "Stage 4 Moments", which led to his first solo exhibition titled "Stage 4 Moments, Life in Darkness" at the Pretoria Art Museum in 2021.

Rulore has participated in numerous group exhibitions; India Delhi 2015, Pretoria Penthouse 2015, Art Alive Brooklyn 2017, Centurion Art Gallery 2018, Pretoria Arts Association 2021, solo exhibitions 635 Suurman Section 6, Hammanskraal, Bag Factory Artist Studios 2023, Sasol Gallery, Sasol Place My – June 2023.

His work is included in the collection of Sasol, Tshwane University of Technology, UNISA as well as private collections locally & internationally.
