Carl V. B. Jeppe ( 1949 - ) Schooled at St.John?s College, Johannesburg. Studied Fine Arts at Technikon Pretoria. Worked at Performing Arts Council Transvaal as a property maker. Taught drawing and painting at Art Studios Pretoria. First solo exhibition at the Association of Arts, Pretoria, Old Nedbank building, Church Square, in 1976. Crake Gallery, 1978. ?Women 2005? at Sandton Convention Centre. ABSA Gallery, 2008. Caster Bridge Gallery, White River, 2008. ?Studio Raid? exhibition at the Arts Association in 2011. ?Nothing cast in stone? exhibition at the UJ Gallery in 2016 and art Lovers 1932 in 2017. Solo at Art Lovers 1932 and had work at the 2017 Turbine Art Fair. Arts Association Gallery, Mackie Street, Pretoria in October 2021, and in the Galerie Chaton in May 2022 Judged at Several art Competitions: New Signatures; Absa L?Atelier; Pretoria Eiseddfodd; Webber Wentzel Young Artists Awards; Art Alive; Centurion Arts Association Artist of the Year; Art Lovers 1932 Annual competition; One of the three Judges at the 2017 Sanlam Portrait awards in Cape Town in August.

Over 90 group exhibitions.

Several Portrait Commissions including Naledi Pandor, Adelaide Tambo, Heynecke Meyer.

Lectured full-time at Technikon Pretoria, (now TUT) from 1981 until 2013. Lectured part-time (Drawing) University of Pretoria from 1989 to 1996. Presented Lectures and Drawing workshops at Michigan State University (MSU) in 2000. Lectured drawing part-time at Tuks From 2014 to 2018

Involved in the design of three numismatic coin sets produced by the South African Mint, as well as designing the new 10-cent circulation coin featuring the Cape Honey Bee, released in May 2023. Also serves on the Design Advisory Committee for the S.A.Mint.

Presents untutored Figure Drawing sessions and workshops at the Arcadia Scout Hall, Beckett Street, Pretoria.
