LIVING THE FRUITS OF LIFEPhilip BadenhorstThematically the artist is still using the same characteristic themes and symbols e.g. flowers, vases, fruit, still lifes, portraits, abstract and figurative depictions. Technically and content wise the artist is still inspired by the expressive Italian School e.g. The Transavantgarde of the late seventies, as well as early Modernistic artists like Cezanne and Matisse.
