Van Dyk Browns

This is a process that dates back to the late 1800’s.

Today it has become a popular process in fine-art photography; acid free paper is coated with UV radiation sensitive chemicals and a negative is exposed using sunlight.

Prints made in this process are archival and aesthetically appealing with the rich brown tones.

To achieve consistent results is extremely difficult and therefore prints will not match up exactly.

In this lies their uniqueness and appeal as collectables.
