ANNELISE BOWKER ART CLASSES Annelise Bowker offers dynamic art classes at the Tina Skukan Gallery, Pretoria. The four main disciplines namely, drawing, painting, illustration and printing are presented at various levels from beginners, people with a passion for art to advanced students. Tina Skukan Gallery is situated on one of the last remaining smallholdings in Koedoeberg Road in the eastern suburb of Faerie Glen. Annelise Bowker has been lecturing art since 1981 at various tertiary institutions and is since 2005 involved at the University of Pretoria as a Fine Art Education lecturer. She has participated in numerous national exhibitions, held solo exhibitions and has been selected to take part in numerous international Biennials and Triennials . She is a collagraph printmaker and has received special mention and certificates for prints submitted to the Kempton Park Ekurhuleni Fine Arts competition, the Printmaking Bienniale in Poland and the Trienniale Mondiale d’ Estamps Petit format in France and the 2008 7th Kochi International Triennial of prints in Japan. TARGET GROUPS: SUBJECTS: Drawing - Graphite , pastels, coloured pencils and charcoal Printmaking - Linoleum ( reduction and monochrome ) monoprints , etching techniques, basic collographs Painting - Oil , watercolour and acrylic Creativity workshops - PROGRAM: Three hour classes: 1 x per week, Tuesdays - Thursdays ; 10:00 - 13:00 The four main disciplines namely , drawing , painting , illustration and printing are presented
