Womens Day Portraits 2005

An exhibition of 14 portraits, painted in oils, of prominent South African Women at "Women 2005" at the Sandton Convention Centre. The show was organized by S.E. Shows and Events, and was sponsored by First National Bank and Gauteng Economic Development Agency.

The women were picked by the editors of Fair Lady, Shape, Sarie and True Love Magazines. They were chosen because they are ordinary people who do extraordinary things.

The purpose of the event was to honour women and spotlight the enormous contributions they have made to South Africa.

The exhibition was opened by David Wolstenholme from SE Shows and Events, Ann Donald, Editor of Fair Lady Magazine, and Clem Sunter, Well-known Author, speaker and scenario Planner.
