Bondage | Printed stills

Gordart Gallery hosted the first art exhibition for Sexpo. Photographic stills documenting a process of being bound with red inscribed ribbon.

The narrative told by the inscription on the ribbon is in contradistinction to the marks left on the body in bondage. The dialogue between the marks is ironic.. Each set of marks belongs to a different layer of of culture - one from the dawn of time and the other from the florescence of letters. The documentary of the binding and undoing of the ribbon produces a third inscription on the screen .
